Mid-Florida Community
The Residents Encounter Christ (REC) of Mid-Florida, Inc, community serves the county areas of Citrus, Marion, Sumter, and Lake Counties to bring the REC events to county jails. In August, 2007 the REC program was brought to Mid Florida from Louisville, KY. The first Florida REC took place in June, 2008 at the Sumter County Detention Center in Bushnell. Since that time REC weekends have been held numerous times at Mid Florida County Detention Centers. Download our brochure (PDF format).
