Spiritual Director's Message on Pentecost Sunday
How blessed we are as followers of Jesus, to celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church on Pentecost Sunday. God continues to do a mighty work by equipping and empowering his disciples to bring the love of Jesus to the hurting and the broken in various detention centers throughout Florida.
How blessed we were, about 50 of us, to gather on May 18, at Coleman UMC to share stories about how God has equipped us at REC to help transform the lives of some 3000 men and women in the past 16 years. God continues to call and equip people who say “yes” to spreading the word and the love of Jesus. How blessed we all are to be a part of this life changing ministry.
Thank you, Lord, for sending your spirit to equip, guide and protect us.
